Paul M. Van Dort, (the one on the right), came into possession of his father's
1939 New York World's Fair photos after the passing of his father in 2000.
Having spent 26 years in the photographic industry, and 16 years in his own
typesetting, graphic & web design company, it was almost a natural thing for
him to turn the 272 photos into something he could share with everyone – the
1939 New York World's Fair Photo Collection Coffee-table book.
A note in passing... the one with the large ears on the left is Tri-Via,
(pronounced trivia, like the game) a wolf-hybrid named after the Roman deity
who stood guard over three crossroads. When she is not sleeping, she spends
most of her time in the office, keeping Paul company and being the center of
attention when clients come to call.
